Harlem
By Langstion Hughes
What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
Like a raisnin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore
And then run
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crush and suger over
Like a syrupy sweet
Many it sags like a heavy load
Or does it explode?
In my eyes Langston Hughes is trying to say that when you have a dream don't it go to waste or let it rot maby the same way he's dream Rot if that was what he was referring to himself in his pome Harlem maby deep down Hughes had a dream that never came ture just for the simple fact that he never took his dream into affect so In a way it did rot like a raisin and now he can't and wont put his dream into affect
